The Gentleman's Magazine, 1834, vol. II, p. 84, records the Duke's installation as Chancellor.
There are extant wax models of the Duke of Wellington dated by E.J.Pyke to be 1818 and 1822. A portrait of the Duke by Rouw was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1818 (No. 1013).
